The High Country is Calling all Adventurers to Ouray!

Summer is here, and the jeep trails are beckoning. Only a couple of roads are still in the process of being cleared. The much needed moisture this week has not caused any delays, but definitely served to cool off the lower altitudes, and ensure an amazing Fourth of July Fireworks display!

There is no better time than the present to come up and escape the heat on one of our many awesome trails, and with over 500 miles to choose from, you're sure to find an adventure perfectly suited to your adventure demands.

At the Box Canyon Lodge & Hot Springs, we make it our business to have the most up to date information on the jeep trails. From County websites, talking to the jeep tour companies, and of course, our guests, we find out where it is safe for you to explore, and share the information as often as possible.
