SWING INTO THE 8th ANNUAL WINE, CHOCOLATE & CHEESE FESTIVAL
Food and Wine, Live Music, Dancing
Year after year, foodies gather to indulge in the flavors of the region at Ouray’s Wine, Chocolate and Cheese Festival. This year, along with sampling regional wines, chocolates and artisanal cheeses, guests will experience the thrilling 1930’s swing era with live music from Take Five and hors d'oeuvres. Dressing up in period costume and dancing is encouraged.
In addition to providing tastes of their product, vendors will be selling their goods. Holiday shoppers can buy bottles of wine, boxes of chocolate and fine cheeses. There will also be local artists selling arts and crafts. At the end of the evening, attendees can vote for the best wines, chocolates and cheeses of the night.
In the midst of live music, dancing and tasting there will be dance performances from Weehawken Creative Arts. The cast of the annual production, The Polar Express will be teasing their upcoming performance which takes place on December 16 and 17.
Ouray’s Wine, Chocolate and Cheese Festival will take place on December 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ouray Community Center (320 6th Ave.). Tickets are $25 when purchased in advance from ColoradoWineFest.org and $30 at the door. The ticket cost includes the night’s tasting, entertainment and a door prize ticket. Additional door prize tickets are available for sale at the event. Proceeds benefit Weehawken Creative Arts.
